The Rundle Park “Just for Fun” Ball Hockey League has been giving Edmonton kids a fun and affordable place to play since 1990. It’s entirely volunteer-run, and with a focus on participation, friendship and fun—not winning.
120 players, 15 and under, meet Saturdays from 11:00am – 4:00pm at the ACT Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Rundle Park, featuring the weekly halftime target challenge, the “Sports 1440 Skill Shot!” See the schedule below.
They are looking for donations and sponsorships, big or small, to help make the league and year-end party extra special. The hope is to give every player a goodie bag at the party, with some major prizes and draws. Donation ideas include:
- Sponsor a player or help with registration costs
- Gift cards, toys, games, or tickets to sporting events, movies or local attractions
- Restaurant certificates, food, drinks or party supplies
- Ball hockey equipment or sporting goods
- Team shirts or financial sponsorships
- Trophies, medals or awards
- Samples, promotional products or branded items for goodie bags
- Larger prizes for year-end draws
- Financial donations of any size
