CFCW presents the 2nd Annual Alberta Lung Feisty Pickles Charity Pickleball Tourney! It's a fun, competitive round robin format complete with medals, swag bags, food trucks, a silent auction and more! Friday night is the Kick Off Event with a mix & mingle with free food and beverages while local celebrities and pros compete in their own round of Pickleball. Then on Saturday & Sunday, join in the Mixed, Men's or Women's Doubles events, and dress up in fun and creative costumes to win prizes!

 

1 in 5 Albertans/Canadians live with lung disease. Edmonton's transplant program is ranked 2nd in Canada and 6th in the world, but 77% of patients don't live in the Edmonton area. The estimated cost for a transplant family for 9 months is $78,610, which adds a lot of financial burden to an already stressful situation. All funds raised at the event go to Alberta Lung's Breathing Space, the first facility of its kind in Canada, providing a sanctuary for lung transplant patients and their families, giving them much needed “breathing space” in their fight to regain their strength and vitality.
